Last year marked the debut of the Acoustic Arrangements album series, with the publication of the "Square Enix Acoustic Arrangements" album, featuring music from the SaGa and Final Fantasy series of games. The reinterpreted acoustic pieces include “Prelude Medley,” composed by Uematsu and arranged by Kevin Penkin, along with “Fight On Medley,” composed by Uematsu and arranged by Octopath Traveler composer Yasunori Nishiki. The ten-track compact disc contains renditions of music from the PlayStation 4 title, performed by pianists Mariko Taguchi and Ai Kuwabara, violinists Atsuki Yoshida and Mei Mishina, and an ensemble of artists. A brief trailer is on the publisher's youTube channel. Publisher Square Enix has uploaded excerpts from each track of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Acoustic Arrangements album, scheduled for release on November 25 in Japan.
